Okay, I’m a great big dork. I just listened to this week’s show and realized that I’d said just the opposite of what I’d intended. What I meant to ask for was a podcast dealing with more of the veggie/vegan COOKING and less about the ethics. Not to say you guys spend much time on any soapbox, but it seems most of the shows I have listened to are more about the ethics or talking about restaurant options. I want to learn more about what I want to look for nutritionally when avoiding meat, and good cooking ideas to get the most out of flavors and nutrition when giving up the meat. Also, it seems so much time is spent on trying to make things seem more like cheese or meat and not enough on enjoying the vegetables, grains, beans and nuts for their own sake. My wife Melissa made some so called ‘raw chicken nuggets’ the other night with a variety of nuts and such. If ever there were something to make me shy away from vegan, that would do it. I’d rather avoid focusing on what I can’t have and make what is available as wonderful as possible on it’s own. Thanks again, guys!
