Great show, as always! I loved hearing my voicemail…I suppose we will always have to deal with those types of people. And you were right about how if we ever said something like that, people would totally jump on us!

OH and I finally got to Red Bamboo. I had the soul chicken sandwich and loved it! It was such a cute restaurant and I was overwhelmed with the amount of choices. :P

Hey guys! I just wanted to tell you how much I love your show and I really hope that it continues. :-) I tried to dive straight into veganism at first and I did really well until a family emergency put me right in the middle of meat-and-potato country for a week. I did my best to eat vegetarian since we mostly ate fast food. Now I’m a vegetarian with vegan habits. I actually felt really guilty about it at first and then I started listening to your podcast last week (starting with the 1st episode). It’s nice to find other “aspiring” vegans who haven’t quite kicked the addiction to cheese.

    Much Love,
    -Tracy

PS- If you haven’t found your awesome vegan macaroni yet, the Yellow Rose cookbook has a really awesome recipe. I liked it best when I just made it on stove top & skipped the baking. I’ll also fill you in if I ever get around to trying Quick & Easy Vegan Comfort Food’s mac & cheese.

    Hey guys,
Thanks for addressing nuggets! It’s great to throw those facts into conversation with people, especially now that most people have seen Jamie Oliver’s demonstration or the image of the “pink goo” that chicken nuggets are made from. After seeing the picture of the “pink goo” on the internet, my mom sent me a message with the single line: “I’m sorry I ever fed you chicken nuggets when you were little.”

She didn’t apologize for feeding me all the other kinds of meat, but at least it is a start. She is glad to know that at least her future grandchildren will eat healthy. aw…. just wanted to share that.

Keep it up, guys! Can’t wait to hear what you guys talk about next. Hope your holidays are going well.

    Take care,
    Megan
